| Chipset | FSB | Geheugen controller | AGP | GPU | ||||||
| R658 | 533MHz | Dual RDRAM 1066 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 651 | 533MHz | DDR333 | 8x | ja | ||||||
| 655 | 533MHz | Dual DDR333 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 648DX | 533MHz | DDR400 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 660 | 533MHz | DDR333 | 8x | ja | ||||||
| R658DX | 667MHz? | Dual RDRAM 1333 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 648FX | 667MHz? | DDR400 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 656 | 667MHz? | Dual DDR400/DDR-II 400 | 8x | ? | ||||||
| Chipset | FSB | Geheugen controller | AGP | GPU | ||||||
| 746 | 266MHz | DDR333 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 746DX | 266MHz | DDR400 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 764FX | 333MHz? | DDR400 | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 755 | 800MHz (Hammer) | n.v.t. | 8x | nee | ||||||
| 760 | 800MHz (Hammer) | n.v.t. | 8x | ja (Xabre?) | ||||||

The AMD Athlon MP processor, AMD’s award-winning multiprocessor, delivers the ideal dual-processor platform for the server and workstation markets. For server customers, the new AMD Athlon MP processor 2200+ provides the reliability and stability they need for mission-critical email, exchange, file, print and networking applications. For workstation users, such as engineers, architects and designers, the AMD Athlon MP processor 2200+ excels on compute-intensive workstation applications, including digital content creation and computer-aided design.
"The coexistence and collaboration of Unix and Linux systems from a single source offers our customers and channel partners a powerful choice of solutions, backed by a name (SCO) that powers millions of servers around the world," said Darl McBride, now chief executive of SCO.
Windows PE is very customizable. Microsoft allows the user to customize almost every aspect of Windows PE, so that it can fit like a glove for your deployment needs. Customizing WinPE is as simple as editing a few files before copying it to a CD or hard disk.

"Since 1984, Apple has had at least four or five ad campaigns that targeted PCs," Williams said. "To our knowledge, this is the first time a PC maker has gone after Apple." While that isn't a bad idea, "Gateway would have been better off doing its own ads promoting the Profile 4," Baker said. "Typically when you do a comparison kind of ad, you're doing that to try and steal sales from a successful product. It doesn't make a lot of sense to go after iMac's small market share."
Among people who said their downloading from file-sharing services had increased over the past six months, fully 41 percent reported purchasing less music now than six months ago, compared to only 19 percent who said they were purchasing more music. Even for those who are downloading the same amount, nearly two-to-one are purchasing less music in the past six months -- 25 percent purchased less, 13 percent more and 62 percent purchased the same amount of music. And, for those who are downloading less, 22 percent said they purchased less in the last six months, 23 percent said they purchased more and 55 percent said they purchased the same amount.
Japanese companies have high hopes for blue-laser products, which allow discs to store more data because of the shorter wavelength of blue light. Data on optical media such as DVDs are stored as "dots" on the disc. A laser with a shorter wavelength means that smaller dots can be used.
