Well, I did a benchmark tests on the just received ASUS A7V266 mainboard. It is a KT266 mainboard which supports 2 DDR + 2 SDR. Initial test is based on 1001.b21 BIOS which is still has some minor bugs.
Again we used our Duron 600 and run it at 6x133 (800) and the memory benchmark results obtained is quite representive what you would expect from a KT266 board.
Sisoft Sandra 2001 Benchmark
1T command, CAS 2.0ns, we obtained 610/787
2T command, CAS 2.5ns, we obtained 586/753
The results are quite similar to what we get from Soltek SL75DRV and Gigabyte 7VTX.

Afreey's 56X comes close to topping our list for CD-ROM drives. Unfortunately, weaknesses accompany its strengths. We learned this when crowning the Kenwood 72X our current Leaderboard champ. The Kenwood's weaknesses lie with reading CD-RWs, as well as accurate DAE with scratched discs. Now the Afreey stands poised to overtake the Kenwood. Let's examine the positives and negatives.
After six hours, the police determined that the Powerbook was indeed a Powerbook and not a bomb - its
hapless owner was released from questioning, and the airport was free to return to its business.
The scare was blamed on the titanium used in the laptop casing - officials said this could have given a false reading
We have to wait for the street prices of Pentium 4 and should not forget the added costs of the motherboard and the RDRAM memory, but it seems very likely that Pentium 4 will gain a lot of popularity now.
