The FireGL 8800 is a successful product indeed. The only thing that the developers have to do is to correct the drivers to avoid errors in the 3D MAX. However, even if they do it, ATI is half a year late. The FireGL 8800 was intended to be a competitor against Quadro4 750XGL both in price and in performance, but it fights against the Quadro4 750XGL not very well, as well as against the Quadro DCC and Quadro2 PRO. Well, better late than never.
The Wildcat II 5000 shows the most stable results. Taking into account that it lacks for any quality problems I could recommend you this card... if not the price. At such price one can get a more efficient modern accelerator.

Short for "wireless fidelity," Wi-Fi is predicated on the technical standard 802.11, which requires the installation of a small radio tower connected to the Internet via a high-speed phone line or DSL (digital subscriber line) connection. The radio, about the size of a can of beer, extends the wire line and connects with any mobile devices equipped with mini-radios in PC cards.
However, it has a list price of $1,299 USD, and only has a screen-size of 10". Despite the added complexity, more powerful and versatile laptops with larger screens can be had for less, which lack only a few ports, and a remote. If Samsung can bring the price down, the simplicity offered by the DVDL100 looks to be a fine entertainment system for those weekend excursions.
