Hard OCP heeft de Alpha Socket 370 Cooler eens vergeleken met de FDP32 van GlobalWin. In tegenstelling tot de GlobalWin blijkt de Alpha ook makkelijk op een IWill Slocket converter met een FCPGA Coppermine te passen. Ook op het gebied van herrie en cooling bleek de Alpha net een streepje voor te hebben:

The Alpha comes sported with a couple of different fans and one that has superior air flow to the one we used above. The test unit we used is priced at $34, but you can get a higher performance fan combo for $38. The older and least efficient Global Cooler runs $15, while the FDP32 "Alpha Killer" runs $20.
The ONLY place I saw the Global "killing" the Alpha is on price. But one thing we have learned is that you usually get what you pay for.
