The louder you play it, the better it sounds! The four satellite speaker setup is extremely useful for playing first person shooters such as Half Life, Quake III, and Unreal Tournament because you can literally hear everything that is going on around you, giving you a slight advantage over those using the traditional 2 speaker/subwoofer setup. After listening to them for a couple of hours, I came to the conclusion that these are the best sounding PC/Multimedia speakers you can buy for the money. The quality ranks up there with home speaker systems and the accurate music and sound they produce are simply amazing. This system works because they have separate drivers handling the highs, mids, and lows, whereas a system like the Cambridge, only uses one driver for the highs and mids, and a subwoofer for the lows. As with most high quality speaker systems, they sound better when they have been broken in. The more you listen to them, the better they sound.
