300W voeding
2x3.5" en 4x5.25" extern
4x3.5" intern
maximaal vier 81mm fans
standaard twee 81mm fans gemonteerd
So after that paltry complaints section, we come to the conclusion, which should be fairly clear by now: I love this case. Antec has done a great job of creating an enclosure with the hard-core tinkerer in mind. Component access is the easiest of any case I've ever seen, and the cooling performance is impressive, as well. Throw in that bulletproof Antec power supply, and you have a nearly perfect package, in my book.
So it comes to this: Antec has surpassed my expectations (and with their trick side panel and drive cage latches, my wildest dreams) of what a great case should be. Frankly, my complaints are quibbles that don't add up to a point deduction between them. Consequently, I award the SX-1030 an 11.

The 750CXe devices are IBM's first PowerPC chips
to employ a "tweaked" version of the company's 0.18-micron copper
wiring technology, said PowerPC marketing manager Dean Parker. The
tweak allows the chips to achieve higher performance levels at half
the power dissipation of their nearest competitors, as well as register
improvements over the 750CX family, Parker said.
Though the speed upticks IBM has achieved with the 750CXe are
noteworthy (the clock speeds of the 750CE family ranged from 350 to
550 MHz, and the speeds for the 750CXe range from 400 to 700 MHz),
they don't match the PowerPCs introduced by Motorola Inc.'s
Semiconductor Products Sector earlier this year. Motorola aims its
733-MHz MPC 7450 at the high-end networking space. Apple has also
opted to use that Motorola chip — in its G4 line of computers.
Industry sources have suggested the clock speed of the MPC 7450
device that could be bumped as high as 800 MHz in 2001, though a
Motorola spokesman stated only that the device has headroom for
higher clock speeds.
Tim Mui of analyst firm IDC, said, "HP prides itself on being one
of the few enterprise vendors able to provide a complete mobile
solution. In keeping with this, I think it would want to provide its
users with a range of options, whether Palm OS or Linux."
However, he expressed doubts about whether the firm would
move completely away from Pocket PC. "I'm sure [Pocket PC]
will remain their primary focus, at least in the short term," he said.
Compaq generally uses Oracle as its database of choice when
conducting TPC benchmarks, but the decision to use Sybase for the
ES40 6/833 time trials yielded superior performance and
price-performance: Not only did the latest ES40
quadprocessor-which is equipped with the fastest currently-shipping
Alpha CPUs-set a new speed record for midrange servers, the
system became the first RISC/Unix server to come in under the $20
onderzoeksbureau PC Data.
