Software-update: UltraEdit 19.10

IDM Computer Solutions heeft versie 19.10 van UltraEdit uitgebracht. Deze multifunctionele teksteditor kan overweg met gewone ascii-tekst, maar hexadecimale bestanden en html-bestanden zijn evenmin een probleem. Verder beschikt het over features als macro's, verticale blokselectie, syntax highlighting, een ingebouwde ftp-client en spellingscontrole in diverse talen. Het changelog voor versie 19.10 laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

  • "Pinned" and "Recent" items now listed in UltraEdit Jump List
  • Accessible with right-click on taskbar icon
• UltraSentry integration
  • Send active file to File Shredder queue
  • Run shredder directly from UltraEdit
  • Send active file to Digital Locker
  • Open files from Digital Locker
• UltraFinder integration: "Find files" or "Find duplicates" in active file's directory
• UltraEdit now appears in Explorer's "Open with" context menu for plain text file formats
• Quickly toggle dockable file tabs with new Window menu option "Enable tiling / Dockable tabs"
• Much improved HTML/XML tag highlighting when tag spans multiple lines
• Improvements for Reindent Selection
• Various other minor enhancements and improvements

Lovin'it. Kan, of beter wil, niet zonder.
Maar de "New "Simplistic" environment for simple, minimalistic editor layout" zou wel eens mijn best gewaardeerde nieuwe feature in jaren kunnen zijn.
