IDM Computer Solutions heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van zijn multifunctionele teksteditor UltraEdit. De editor is nu bij versienummer 15.20.0.1022 beland. UltraEdit kan overweg met gewone ascii-tekst, maar ook hexadecimale bestanden en html-bestanden zijn geen probleem. Verder beschikt het over features als macro's, verticale blokselectie, syntax highlighting, een ingebouwde ftp-client en spellingscontrole in diverse talen. In versie 15.20 is onder andere de undo-functie sterk verbeterd en is de performance verbeterd wanneer er meerdere bestanden zijn geopend. Sindsdien zijn er drie updates verschenen en daarin zijn de volgende problemen verholpen:

- Fixed screen jump/positioning problem with Undo/Redo in unmodified files
- Fixed issue where undoing a change in a saved file does not add modified asterisk (*) to file tab or file name in title bar
- Fixed UltraEdit hang on Vista64 shutdown (while UltraEdit is still running)
- Fixed issue where configuring template directory actually changes spell directory in INI file
- Fixed some layout issues with child windows and vertical scrollbars

- Fixed issue where function list doesn't update when loading file from explorer
- Fixed issue where some operations in very large files cause "Out of Memory" errors

- Fixed issue where compare of FTP file to local file sometimes fails
