IDM Computer Solutions heeft de begin oktober verschenen versie 14.10 van Ultraedit van een update voorzien en deze versienummer 14.20.1.1000 meegegeven. Deze multifunctionele teksteditor kan overweg met asci-tekst, maar ook hex- en html-bestanden zijn geen probleem. Verder beschikt het over features zoals macro's, verticale blokselectie, syntax highlighting, een ingebouwde ftp-client en spellingcontrole in diverse talen.
