694X chipset, dual Socket 370 onto its ATX-form factor board and
supports Intel® Celeron(tm)/ Pentium III (FC-PGA) processor up to 800
MHz or faster. It is also equipped with 1 AGP (4x), 1 CNR, and 4 DIMM
slots for up to 2GB SDRAM memory (PC 133). And because it offers 5 PCI
slots, 2 x ATA 66 and 2 x ATA 100 for up to 8 devices, and IEEE 1394
(optional), it is perfect for use in servers and high-level
workstations.
With the increase in CPU intensive graphics and multi-media
applications, it is becoming increasingly more important to have the
processor power required to run these programs.
The MSI-694D Pro boasts the following features:D-LED(tm) (Diagnostic LEDs)
D-LED(tm) is based upon four LED lights mounted directly on the
mainboard which light up to 16 different combinations allowing the user
to diagnose and debug any problem that may cause the computer to fail.
This bundled PC Alert(tm) III software and T.O.P. Tech.(tm) III
monitors real-time temperature on any key components under Windows®
environment. Alert message and sound will be raised if any abnormal
temperature is detected. This function prevents computers from system
failure and damage.
When a computer system is in suspend mode, data is stored to RAM
and inactive peripherals will be power off to save energy. When the
system is awakened, it quickly returns to its operating status, which
eliminates the need to shut down the system.
Ultra DMA/ATA 100 speeds up data transfer rate (up to 100MB per
