Synology heeft de final release van versie 1.1 van de firmware voor zijn RT1900ac router uitgebracht. Dit apparaat weet uitstekende prestaties neer te zetten, heeft uitgebreide mogelijkheden en is eenvoudig te bedienen via een op de Synology Disk Station Manager gelijkende gebruikersinterface. In verie 1.1 is onder meer de mogelijkheid toegevoegd om een tweede wan-verbinding aan te sluiten en deze als back-upverbinding of load balancer te gebruiken. Verder zijn er verbeteringen in de beveiliging aangebracht en is er een app om de signaalsterkte te meten om zo de beste locatie voor de router te vinden.
