Wegens een ernstig beveiligingsprobleem is er een update voor versies 1.5, 2.5 en 3.1 van Joomla verschenen. Joomla is een dynamisch, in php geschreven contentmanagementsysteem dat kan worden gebruikt om bijvoorbeeld een weblog, website of collaboratiesite te maken. Om het programma in het Nederlands te gebruiken kun je onder andere op Joomla Community terecht. De update moet een beveiligingsprobleem verhelpen, waarbij bestandstypes niet goed werden gecontroleerd tijdens het uploaden.
Joomla! 3.1.5 and 2.5.14 Released

The update process is very simple, and complete instructions are available here. Note that there are now easier and better ways of updating than copying the files with FTP.
