IDM Computer Solutions heeft een hotfix uitgebracht voor zijn multifunctionele teksteditor UltraEdit, waardoor het versienummer bij 15.00.0.1046 beland is. UltraEdit kan overweg met gewone ascii-tekst, maar ook hexadecimale en html-bestanden zijn geen probleem. Verder beschikt het over features als macro's, verticale blokselectie, syntax highlighting, een ingebouwde ftp-client en spellingscontrole in diverse talen. In versie 15.00 heeft onder andere de gebruikersinterface een opfrisbeurt gekregen, is de websearch-toolbar verbeterd en is het eenvoudiger om het programma te updaten. In de nu uitgekomen hotfix zijn de volgende zaken aangepakt:

- With file tabs disabled, Alt+Up/Down arrow now scrolls through "Open Files" list in order

- Fixed a couple of issues with Find in Files results
- Fixed issue with C/C++ function list with < and > characters
- Fixed inconsistency when canceling a close to an unsaved file
- Fixed Ctrl+H hex mode/"insert literal" conflict
- Fixed issue where exiting full screen mode deactivates file tabs
- Fixed issue where file tab position changes after modification/save
- Fixed a couple of display issues when switching between files
- Fixed URL in "Check for Updates" dialog
- Fixed "NextWindow" and "PrevWindow" working in reverse in scripts/macros
