Bij HardOCP is een late review verschenen over het Asus A7V266-E moederbord. Deze plank is gebaseerd op de KT266A chipset van VIA en in het bezit van 5 PCI, 1 ACR, 1 AGP en 3 DIMM sleuven. Daarnaast is het mogelijk om RAID aansluitingen te vinden als je de juiste versie van het moederbord hebt gekocht. Het moederbord blijkt heel goed te presteren, en is volgens de reviewer dan ook een echte aanrader:
To say that this is an impressive board would be an understatement. It comes nicely bundled with additional USB ports and a minor software bundle, but the real "feature" of this board is performance. Across the board, with the exception of one benchmark, the A7V266-E performed amazingly well. Asus has done a great job building performance into the A7V266-E and when you couple that with the quality behind the Asus name, you are certain to be purchasing a winner.
