Our view on the quality of the images generated was a surprise to us. After taking all the pictures and looking at them, we had mixed feelings. Everything in me said the Voodoo should look better on a feature that they hold so highly. I thought I was seeing things after a while. I sat down a few of the other FiringSquad bums and gave them blind image tests. While not exactly the best testing procedures were used they always picked the GeForce2 for image quality. Truly an interesting turn of events. I sat there and looked at the pictures long and hard. The Voodoo5 had some areas where it cleaned up the jaggies better, but for some reason, the GeForce2 had them beat in the "Pepsi challenge."

Like I said before this is based more on subjectivity. What pleases our eyes might be different from yours. It was hard to discern the differences. As mentioned earlier the screenshots may not do either card justice, as there might be enough quality loss in the screen captures to throw this whole comparison down the tubes. Once we get uniform test monitors maybe then we can compare the images side by side running at the same time.
