MSXbox: At the incredible rate processors are increasing, doesn't it seem the X-Box's 600 mhz system released at the end of 2001 will be considered on the low-end?DP: I believe that with 600Mhz of CPU power and our X-GPU, this will STILL be the fast gaming console on the market.
MSXbox: Along the same lines, will that cpu have enough power to keep up the graphics processor of the console? I believe you said the GeForce is about 10 to 25% of what the final X-Box GPU will be. If that's the case, it seems to me the CPU will be a bottleneck, becoming a barrier for the system to reach it's full potential.
DP: There are many bottlenecks in our industry, but if game developers use the hardware T&L engine correctly - the CPU will be more than enough horsepower to push the XBOX
