Samba heeft een update gekregen naar versienummer 3.0.12. Met dit stukje software kunnen file- en printerservices naadloos worden geleverd aan netwerken met daarin zowel SMB- als CIFS-clients. - More performance improvements when using Samba/OpenLDAP based DC's via the 'ldapsam:trusted=yes' option.
- Support for the Novell NDS universal password when using the ldapsam passdb backend.
- New 'net rpc trustdom " rel="external">add,del' functionality to eventually replace 'smbpasswd " rel="external">-a,-x -i'.
