Firmware-update: UniFi 6.4.54

Ubiquiti Networks heeft een stabiele versie vrijgegeven van UniFi, met 6.4.54 als versienummer. Dit is een netwerkmanagementcontroller waarmee een netwerkomgeving op basis van UniFi-hardware beheerd kan worden. Denk daarbij aan het inregelen van accesspoints, routers en switches om tot een optimaal dekkend, uniform netwerk te komen. Daarnaast kun je een hotspotportal opzetten en integreren met verschillende paymentproviders, zoals Authorize en PayPal. Let op! Ik heb deze update gisteren geïnstalleerd en toen was ik de adoptie van mijn beide AP's kwijt. Ik heb me er niet in verdiept wat de achterliggende oorzaak kan zijn, maar voor nu heb ik de update terug gedraaid.

Ik heb zojuist even gekeken, maar de 6.4.54 update is hier vannacht automatisch doorgevoerd en alle AP's (mix van Lite, Pro en LR's) werken nog prima. Hadden de AP's misschien nog een oude firmware of iets dergelijks, heb je het voldoende tijd gegeven?

De laatste weken viel de Unifi Doorbell overigens regelmatig weg. Heb daarom die meldingen maar uitgeschakeld. Hopelijk is dat probleem met deze update ook verholpen, want de Experience is 97% en er hangt een Lite nagenoeg naast, dus dat kan het probleem niet zijn.

Ik vroeg mij af hoe je de Unifi controller configureert dat deze automatisch update. Ik zit nog met versie 6.1.71.

Ik heb een Cloud Key Gen2 Plus en dan kan je deze auto update functie op https://hostOFip/settings/updates aanzetten.

Hoe heb je de update terug gedraaid?
Is daar een, eenvoudig, commando voor?

Ik draai deze in een container op een server, dus voor mij is terugdraaien simpel. Gewoon een backup van de container terugzetten. Voor zover ik weer is daar geen specifiek commando voor.

Gisteren geïnstalleerd op een udm en geen problemen ondervonden.

Draai hem nu een weekje, enige issue is dat device names die ik heb ingesteld soms wegvallen in de GUI.

Snap nog steeds niet het gehannes met old en new UI, voor sommige settings moet je de nieuwe hebben en voor andere weer de oude.

Vanavond op Ubuntu 20.04 de controller update gedaan.
Van de 2 AP-AC LR, waarvan beide met de zelfde firmware is er een zijn connectie met de controller verloren.
AP moeten resetten / adopteren.

Update ook geïnstalleerd, zie nog maar 1 UAP in de mapweergave, de andere 3 UAP's zijn er wel en werken ook maar niet meer te zien.
In Dashboard zie ik wel 4 UAP's en in de Devices zie ik ze ook. Maar in map weergave zijn de weg.
Nieuw ge-adopt, reboot enz. Ze zijn en blijven weg.

Na deze update wordt de Topology niet goed weergegeven. Enkel mijn USG staat er nog. Er zijn geen property panels die nog iets toevoegen of resetten aan de weergave.

Zit op de laatste versie van Unify op de Raspberry Pi 4. Ook op de RP is alles bijgewerkt en herstart.

En wat ik ook probeer, niks helpt. Alle UAPs zijn weg en blijven weg in de Topology view.
Verder werkt alles zonder problemen.

Ik had hetzelfde; al mijn wired devices kwamen niet meer naar voren. Alles werkte verder prima.
Bij mij waren alleen de display options gereset. Linksboven klikken op display options en kijken of daar alle devices weergegeven worden.

Helaas werkte dat bij mij niet.

Per toeval had ik een crash op een Raspberry Pi, waardoor alles opnieuw geïnstalleerd moest worden( incl. Unifi - gefaalde auto-backup). Na een schone instal, kwam de topology compleet terug. Na 2 dagen was de topology weer helemaal weg en zag enkel
Weer de USG.

Hoop echt dat ze dit snel fixen want het is toch handig voor een mooie visuele weergaven
