Op de pagina's van Media Portal bij Sourceforge is een nieuwe versie verschenen met 0.1.0.8 als het versienummer. Dit programma kan een computer met Windows XP omtoveren in een Home Theatre Personal Computer waarmee vervolgens op een eenvoudige manier radio, muziek, video en dvd's kunnen worden afgespeeld. Ook is het mogelijk om tv-uitzendingen op te nemen en de interface aan te passen door middel van zogenaamde skins. Het changelog laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
