Google heeft versie 36 van zijn webbrowser Chrome uitgebracht. Google Chrome is beschikbaar voor Windows, Linux en OS X. Er zijn ook versies voor Android en iOS, maar die volgen een iets ander release-schema. In versie 36 zijn onder andere verbeteringen aan notificaties aangebracht, is er een browser crash recovery bubble toegevoegd en heeft de Linux-versie er een Chrome App Launcher bijgekregen. Daarnaast zijn natuurlijk weer de nodige beveiligingsupdates en bugfixes doorgevoerd. De changelog voor deze update ziet er verder als volgt uit:
Stable Channel Update
The Chrome Team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 36 to the Stable channel for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Chrome 36.0.1985.125 contains a number of fixes and improvements, including:Security Fixes and Rewards
