Software-update: Google Chrome 23.0.1271.91

Google heeft een update voor versie 23 van zijn webbrowser Chrome uitgebracht. Google Chrome is beschikbaar in drie verschillende uitvoeringen: stable, beta en dev, en ditmaal is de stabiele uitvoering bijgewerkt. Nieuw in versie 23 is onder meer hardwareversnelling van video door de grafische kaart onder Windows, wat onder meer energiebesparing oplevert. Verder is het eenvoudiger geworden om de permissies voor een webpagina afzonderlijk aan te passen. Deze update bevat voornamelijk bugfixes en beveiligingsupdates.

Stable Channel Update

The Stable channel has been updated to 23.0.1271.91 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and ChromeFrame platforms.

This version fixes several issues including:

• No audio from Flash content when speaker configuration is set to Quadraphonic (Issue: 159924)
• Aw, Snap renderer crash on Windows Server 2003 (Issue: 160559)

Many of the above bugs were detected using AddressSanitizer.

Hmmm ... ik zie net dat ik versie 24.0.1312.14 beta-m heb. Heb ik ergens toevallig een "Use beta versions" vinkje gezet of is dit normaal?

Dat kan zijn. Hier kun je de juiste versie installeren. Zelf heb ik de stable + canary geinstalleerd staan (laatstgenoemd staat naast de bestaande installatie).

Straks maar effe opnieuw starten update zal die al wel gedownload hebben, Verder zie ik links een weer dingtje vind ik wel handig welke plugin is dit weet iemand dat ?.
