Malwarebytes heeft versie 1.45 van Anti-Malware uitgebracht. Dit programma is de opvolger van RogueRemover. Het is te vergelijken met Lavasofts Ad-Aware, maar het richt zich niet op het bestrijden van spy- en adware. Het programma verwijdert kwaadaardige software die zich als bonafide antivirus- of antispywareoplossing voordoet, maar in werkelijkheid minder goede bedoelingen heeft. Net als bij Ad-Aware is er een betaalde variant die extra functionaliteit biedt, waaronder realtime bescherming. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
