Because we handle and test a lot of hardware, we get to see many different packaging styles. Thinking we had seen it all, our jaws dropped when we laid our eyes on the package we received from Mushkin. The memory module is suspended in an inflated plastic bag, much like a reinforced balloon! This kind of packaging provides a very safe journey for the memory to its buyer. Needless to say, this gave us a good first impression...
[...] So what can we say about this PC-133 memory module from Mushkin? Well, it's quite easy actually. This is simply the best memory we have ever seen, and better than we could ever imagine when we first got it. The fact that we could run Quake3 with the FSB set to 160MHz and the timings at 2-2-2 are just plain amazing! Remember that since this memory is rated at 7ns, it could actually be called PC-143. This memory module is quite expensive, but if you want great performance, high quality, and also the ability to use the fastest memory timings at insane bus speeds, I'd say Mushkin's "High Perf REV2 PC133 222 " is definitely worth its price! We at TweakMax give it two thumbs way up there!
