Ook Gamers Depot heeft nu een preview klaar liggen van de 3dfx Voodoo5 5500. Bij Gamers Depot hebben ze werkelijk geen goed woord over voor FSAA:
I guess there must be some people “eating crow” down at 3dfx with the performance hit that this card takes with FSAA and 32bit. Nowhere in our results do I see 3dfx living up to their promises of never introducing features that would bring such a sacrifice to frame rates, especially under 32bit mode. You might as well forget about it, because gameplay becomes almost unbearable in true color, and 3dfx should've put more time into making sure this didn't happen. In fact, we grew suspicious when 3dfx kept telling us to be sure and check out FSAA at the lower resolutions, and quickly learned why they wanted us to do this. In higher resolutions it’s a joke. I find it a bummer when the main attraction a company brags about and tries to get you to look at is something that they can’t even totally deliver on.
