Software-update: Gaim 0.80

De open source en crossplatform instant messenger Gaim heeft een update naar versie 0.80 gekregen. Het programma stelt je in staat om te chatten via de netwerken van AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu en Zephyr. In deze release zijn onder meer de browserondersteuning en file transfers verbeterd. Het volledig changelog is hieronder te bewonderen:

• Ability to send files from the conversation window (Daniel Atallah)
• Drag a file into the buddy list or a conversation to send it to that buddy

• Parentheses are now displayed around the title and tabs of conversations from offline accounts or parted chats.

Bug Fixes:

• The firefox browser option now works with firefox 0.9
• Buddy icons in conversations no longer depend on the buddy list
