Software-update: Lansweeper 10.2.3.0

Om de apparaten in je netwerk in kaart te brengen, kun je gebruikmaken van Lansweeper. Dit programma werkt op een Windows-machine en is in staat om de aanwezige software en hardware te inventariseren in het netwerk zonder daarvoor op elke computer een clientprogramma te installeren. Alle informatie is vervolgens via een webinterface te raadplegen. Lansweeper is beschikbaar als freeware voor kleine omgevingen en voor grotere omgevingen zal betaald moeten worden. In deze uitgave zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

• Added: LAN-12613 The following built-in report: “Windows: Hard disk types” has been added.
• Changed: LAN-13638 Removed old alert reports from the Dashboard referring to obsolete operating systems and Internet Explorer.
• Changed: LAN-13637 On the asset details page, certain information on hardware and devices is hidden if no data was found. The following types of hardware and devices are affected: PCMCIA, portable battery, battery, serial port, parallel port, infrared, tape and modem.
• Changed: LAN-11591 Minor improvements in Asset Summary page for scanning issues to avoid confusion.
• Changed: LAN-13817 Replaced all references of the old forum with the new community forum link.
• Changed: LAN-13717 Removed all mentions and settings for auto-update from the Lansweeper web console. Auto-update packages will no longer be provided.
• Changed: LAN-13639 Updated the default URLs for bookmark widgets to use HTTPS.
• Fixed: LAN-13993 Viewing assets of newly created dynamic groups does not work and produces an error on the page.
• Fixed: LAN-11921 The deletion or rescanning of Azure assets would rarely fail due to database conflicts.
• Fixed: LAN-13983 Preliminary checks on deployments are failing due to a conflict between the old format of tasks in the Task Scheduler and the new format.
• Fixed: LAN-13923 Deployments are occasionally not executed due to early removal from the TaskScheduler.
• Fixed: LAN-13992 Edit icon for filters on dynamic groups were non-functional.
• Fixed: LAN-12614 Automatic Helpdesk ticket closing doesn’t create a system note when “required for closing” fields are not filled in.
