Malwarebytes heeft een final release van versie 1.51 van Anti-Malware uitgebracht. Het programma is gericht op het bestrijden van spy-, ad- en malware en dan met name het verwijderen van kwaadaardige software die zich als bonafide antivirus- of antispywareoplossing voordoet, maar in werkelijkheid minder goede bedoelingen heeft. Naast de gratis uitvoering is er een betaalde variant die extra functionaliteit biedt, waaronder realtimebescherming. Nieuw in versie 1.51 is onder andere dat nieuwe gebruikers de pro-functionaliteit twee weken kunnen uitproberen, dat ingeplande taken kunnen worden bewerkt en dat de updateprocedure en beschermingsmodule efficiënter zijn geworden. Het changelog is verder identiek aan dat van de bèta.

- Add to ignore list menu item is now left enabled if show tooltip balloon is unchecked.
- User is now able to update from the system tray even if the scanner is open.
- Fixed full scan drive list updating issue.
- Fixed issue with protection module not honoring ignore list after an item is restored from the quarantined.
- Date format on update tab is now the same as the system tray.
