Firmware-update: Qnap TS-x10/x19 3.4.1 build 0315

QNAP heeft nieuwe stabiele firmware uitgebracht voor een groot aantal van zijn nas-modellen. De firmware heeft versienummer 3.4.1 build 0315 meegekregen en downloads kunnen op deze pagina worden gevonden. In deze release is onder andere ondersteuning toegevoegd voor een hot spare, althans voor de modellen waar vier of meer harde schijven in geplaatst kunnen worden. Updates zijn ook voor de 509 pro en andere x09 en x59 modellen.

Zeker de Prevent "File system not clean" event by stopping all processes (e.g. iPKG) before system restart. is waardevol. Daar had ik best vaak last van als ik de qpkgs draaide zoals spotnet, sabnzbdplus en sickbeard.

Niet volgens de QNAP download pagina, daar zit de x09 frmware nog op 3.3.0 !

Volgens mij heeft qnap maar 1 firmware voor zo ongeveer alle nas-jes. Voor de TS439ProII+ is de laatste firmware ook naar 3.4.1 build 0315...

Nasty bug was dat, heb lang lopen zoeken waarom andere gebruikers hier niet konden printen.

Ik hou het nog even bij versie 3.3.9. Er zijn in versie 3.4.x firmwares nog issues met stand-by en bittorrent (slechte performance). Bittorrent is verbeterd in versie 3.4.1, maar nog niet op het niveau van de 3.3.x firmwares.

Ooh die hotspare en AIX-support zijn interessant.. hoewel je je kan afvragen hoeveel bedrijven zo'n "kleine" NAS gaan gebruiken terwijl er (dure) IBM oplossingen voor zijn..
