Software-update: ConvertXtoDVD 3.0.0.16 beta

Op het forum van VSO Software is een nieuwe versie van ConvertXtoDVD verschenen. Het gaat om versie 3.0.0.16, terwijl de frontpage van VSO Software melding maakt van 3.0.0.9, dus het gaat hier waarschijnlijk om een semi-officiële versie. ConvertXtoDVD kan de meest uiteenlopende filmbestanden op een dvd branden, zodat deze bijvoorbeeld op de dvd-speler in de huiskamer kunnen worden bekeken. Het programma heeft ondersteuning voor een groot aantal audio- en videoformaten, kan ondertiteling invoegen en menu's maken. Het changelog van deze release bestaat voornamelijk uit bugfixes en kleine aanpassingen die op verzoek van gebruikers zijn aangebracht:

Weet iemand of er ook een open-source / freeware concurrent van dit programma bestaat?

the film machine is een freeware alternatief, maar ondersteund niet alle funkties...
Zo is het bijvoorbeeld niet mogelijk meerdere filmpjes te selecteren en die op 1 dvd te zetten.

Anderzijds biedt "The film machine" wel meer mogelijkheid om in te stellen (encoder settings ed.)

En nog steeds gebruikt dit programma biliniaire resizing ipv. bicubic of lanczos... snif

YES, v3.0.0.9 is still the official Public Version.

When most ßeta testers, or users who wishes to try Build 15 don't find major issues, and VSO are done adding stuff, it will become public after that.
