VSO Software komt steeds dichter bij een finalrelease van Convertxtodvd 3.0 en heeft gisteren versie 2.99.18.970 uitgebracht. Convertxtodvd kan de meest uiteenlopende filmbestanden op een dvd branden, zodat deze bijvoorbeeld op de dvd-speler in de huiskamer kunnen worden bekeken. Het programma heeft ondersteuning voor een groot aantal audio- en videoformaten, kan ondertiteling invoegen en kan menu's maken. In versie 3 kunnen onder andere videobestanden worden samengevoegd, is de snelheid van de videoconversie verbeterd en is het nu mogelijk om geavanceerde dvd-menu's te maken.
