Zojuist heeft het ontwikkelteam achter VLC versie 0.84 voldoende stabiel bevonden om de software de bètastatus te laten ontstijgen. VLC Media Player is een open source, crossplatform mediaspeler die diverse formaten audio, video en streaming-protocollen kan afspelen zonder dat hiervoor eerst de betreffende codec voor hoeft te worden geïnstalleerd. Tevens kan de software worden gebruikt om media in uni- of multicast op een lokaal netwerk te streamen. Onder de vele veranderingen treffen we onder andere een nieuwe VLV cone, een nieuwe wizard onder Mac OS X, HTTP interface CGI afhandeling en herkenning van UPnP- en Bonjour-services. Wel, bij mij ech nie... ik doe in het DEENSE scherm Opsaetning>Indstillinger>interface>General>Sprog: Hollandsk .OKkkkk, daarna start ik VLC opnieuw maar blijft in DEENS staan. Wat nu?
