Samuel is gebaseerd op de Centaur Winchip 4 core en zal beschikken over een geïntegreerd L2 cache van 256Kb. De proc is geschikt voor socket370 en zal op kloksnelheded van boven de 500MHz geïntorduceerd worden:
Samuel will be based upon Centaur's "C5" or WinChip 4 core, Brown said. Samuel will begin life at higher clock speeds than Joshua; it will be manufactured at speeds of 500 MHz and higher when it is introduced at, or slightly before, the third quarter of 2000, according to Brown.
