Toch
De 9100 zou dus sneller moeten zijn

The Radeon 9200 is ATI’s new product aimed at the value market. In every sense, it’s a Radeon 9000 with an 8x AGP interface. The core/memory speed has not been decided on yet, but it should be higher than the 9000, judging by the nomenclature; a higher core/mem speed would be needed to surpass the 9100 in performance. It would have been nice if ATI was able to release a value DX9 part, but it would seem that it is not at the right price point yet.
The benefits of AGP 8x can theoretically be seen with larger textures, more complex geometry, higher resolutions, increased quality settings and faster transfers direct to the CPU. But in reality, 8x doesn’t have much of an impact on performance.
With DirectX-8-based games coming into abundance soon, this card will serve the value segment nicely. ATI really needs to get this low-end card out and sell it at a lower price point, in my opinion. The NV34 is rumoured to be DX9, but having a higher DirectX generation doesn't mean much as can be seen in the value market’s history. The value end is a significant portion of the market, so let's hope ATI can do well for itself with this board.
RADEON 9200 - $79-129 SRP
RADEON 9200 Pro - $129-149 SRP
