Deze harddisk heeft, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, een capaciteit van 60GB (3 platters van 20GB), een ATA100 interface, 7200rpm, een cache van 2MB en maakt gebruik van Maxtor's Acoustic Management Technology. Met deze technologie kun je een keuze maken tussen een hogere performance en minder lawaai, maar de reviewer vindt dat de drive zelf in high performance mode weinig lawaai maakt:
In summary, Maxtor has done an excellent job with the DiamondMax Plus 60. It is able to hang tough with the Deskstar 75GXP, and even noticeably surpass it in some cases. For general apps or gaming, we’d still recommend the Deskstar 75GXP, but for any sort of A/V editing, or even working with large image files, the DM60+ is the better option--it could literally save you hours. Either way, it's difficult to imagine anyone being disappointed with either drive. A job well-done by Maxtor.Pros:
