This monitor is one of the more cheaper monitors on the market for its size, as such it does falter a little bit in some of its display. Under windows i run the monitor at 1280x1024 at 85Hz, any higher and i find that the image is becomming fuzzy, even at this resolution there is some fuzziness, however not enough to worry me. The monitor also does not have a uniform brightness i have noticed that the left side of the screen is a shade greyer then then the right, the monitor also does not drawn straight lines under windows perfectly straight, this is more noticeable on a 19" then with a 15 or even 17" but it is due to the curvature of the glass.
Using the included colourific software makes a big difference i have found. Not being the most artistic creative or colourful person around, i dont know my colours to well, i just know what looks good, so using this software really did help me tweak the image to just the way a like it, vibrant colours but not overally bright.
Lets get to what really matters however, performance in games. I have used this monitor in quake 3, Unreal Torunament, Counter Strike, Midtown Madness and a few others and it truly does give a beautiful picture. Highly useable for gaming, sexy large images even though my TNT2 Ultra can only realistically do 1024x768 in quake 3 when i pump it up to 1280x1024 it certainly rocks although i get around 19fps. Counter-Strike is also great on this monitor, the opposition are much easier to snipe on a bigger screen.
