According to ATI, 166MHz will be spec for the OEM cards of BOTH 32Megs and 64Megs. Seems as though you can get the 64Meg OEM Card with the TIVO or without the TIVO. I have reports of folks getting 183MHz OEM TIVO cards. If this includes YOU, consider yourself LUCKY. Because you were not supposed to get it clocked that high. At least that is what ATI said!
In order help keep everyone informed of just what they are getting, the OEM cards will be renamed "Radeon OEM 32", "Radeon OEM 64", and "Radeon OEM TIVO", or something in that line of thinking. How this would be displayed brought about some problems, but a [H]ard|OCPer sent in a great idea! Warren O'Neil suggested that ATI simply put the letters "OEM64" in the serial number of their OEM cards. Sounds simple, but I don't know if their production processes will allow for it or not. ATI seemed to think it was a pretty good idea also.
As well as identifying the cards physically, ATI committed to also post specs on their website that would be there for people to check to see EXACTLY what they are getting if they do in fact buy one of the EIGHT DIFFERENT models of Radeon that are out there when you look at the big picture. Honestly, I think posting the specs is the key to this whole thing, just let us know what you have for sale and be upfront and honest about it....
