K6-2+ in HP notebooks volgende week

CNET schrijft dat volgende week de eerste notebooks met AMD K6-2+ voorbij zullen komen. HP levert deze goedkope notebooks al voor $999.

Next week, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based PC maker will also unveil two new consumer Pavilion models, including one model that will contain a K6-2+ processor that will sell for $999 with rebate, according to people familiar with the company's plans. HP's portable push will kick off Monday with the release of the Pavilion 3215 and 3295 for consumers. The 3215 will come with a K6-2+ processor, Advanced Micro Devices' new notebook chip, and sell for $1,099. For an initial period, HP will offer a $100 rebate.

Is de K6-2+ een speciale notebookversie of zo? Ik weet dat er modellen zijn die minder stroom verbruiken, dus?

trouwens K6-2tjes zijn er allang voor notebooks..
zelf zit er bij mij een K6-2-300 Mhz in...dus er zal wel iets nieuws zijn..cache? of toch clock frequency..?

Notebooks... op zich interesant, maar wat zit er (behalve die K6-2+) nogmeer in?
Een K6-2 kost bijna nix (notebook versies is toch gewoon dezelfde?)

Tja, dacht dat de k6-2+ gecanceled was, maar ok.
Zit cache op is een soort k6-3 wat er pcies ander is weet ik niet, mischien minder cache of op andere snelheid of zo.
Maar er zit cache op, zo niet lees ik het hier straks wel.
