Irfan Skiljan heeft versie 4.36 van IrfanView uitgebracht. Met dit gratis programma kunnen diverse afbeeldingsformaten en audio- en videobestanden worden geopend. Na installatie ondersteunt IrfanView rond de 30 formaten, maar door toevoeging van alle plug-ins kan dit aantal naar ruim 70 worden opgekrikt. De download is alleen in het Engels en Duits te gebruiken, maar door de toevoeging van taalbestanden is het ook mogelijk om het programma Nederlands te laten praten. De installer bevat een optionele installatie van Google Chrome, dus let even op welke vinkjes aanstaan. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

1995 wilt zijn iconen terug... Nee serieus, waarom zijn er zoveel programma's die zo vreselijk weinig tijd in hun GUI steken? WinRAR is er nog zo een. Nu ja, functionaliteit gaat boven look, maar zonder look heb je geen functionaliteit.
