Kort geleden is versie 8 van MailStore Home uitgekomen en inmiddels zijn we al bij versie 8.0.2 aanbeland. Met dit programma, dat gratis is voor thuisgebruik, kan een backup worden gemaakt van alle e-mails. Ondersteuning is aanwezig voor pop3- en imap-accounts, de Microsoft programma's van Outlook Express tot en met Outlook 2013, Mozilla Thunderbird, accounts op Exchange, Kerio Connect en MDaemon, on-line account zoals Gmail en mailbox-bestanden, die bijvoorbeeld door Eudora worden gebruikt. - Exchange Server: MailStore now comes with a global option to skip objects that can't be converted to MIME by Exchange Server (disabled by default)
- When archiving e-mail messages, the source mailbox internal date (e.g. IMAP INTERNALDATE or MAPI PidTagMessageDeliveryDate) is now included in the duplicate message detection
- Search results may incorrectly display sent messages as received. Rebuild search indexes with this version if you encounter this error.
