Apple heeft versie 10.5.3 van iTunes uitgebracht. Met dit programma is het onder andere mogelijk om een muziek- en filmcollectie te beheren; muziek, films en tv-series via de onlinemuziekwinkel van Apple te kopen; en cd's te branden en de iPod of iPhone te beheren. Apples iTunes is beschikbaar voor Windows XP en latere Windows-versies, en natuurlijk voor Mac OS X. In versie 10.5.3 is onder andere ondersteuning voor Apples nieuwe interactieve iBook-tekstboeken toegevoegd.

iTunes 10.5.3 allows you to sync interactive iBooks textbooks to your iPad. These Multi-Touch textbooks are available for purchase from the iTunes Store on your Mac or from the iBookstore included with iBooks 2 on your iPad.
