Upgrade Notes

- If your version is after 0.7.2(5175), you can upgrade it by any ways.
- If your version is lower than 0.7.2(5175), and you install by option #1
(no data in the boot disk), and there is space of at least 128MB in the
boot disk, you can upgrade it from LiveCD. Otherwise, a new installation
is necessary. (This procedure formats the boot disk.) And, you must
remove the mount point of the boot disk, and add it again.
Other Notes

- The system requirements are changed. The minimum space to install:
OS disk: 128MB(120MiB), Mem: 384MB for embedded.

Permanent restrictions:
- It is not possible to format a SoftRAID disk with MSDOS FAT16/32.

Known bugs:
- If DHCP for IPv4 is used, the IPv6 statically configured DNS server will be
overriden by the IPv4 DNS server.
NEED TESTING:

- All services using IPv6 address (NFS, FTP, etc...)
- Netatalk VFS Samba module (automatically enabled when Netatalk starts) crashes

Main services can be easily authenticated using PAM-LDAP, but is harder for Samba.

Jullie mogen hem vervangen eventueel en mijn post verwijderen. Er staat trouwens bij 'New Features' dat er geupgrade is naar Samba 3.5.6 maar onder het kopje 'Release Notes' staat dat er geupgrade is naar Samba 3.5.8
Zou het trouwens niet handig zijn om FreeNAS Legacy en FreeNAS 8 beide apart in de meuktracker te vermelden. Nu staan ze bij elkaar in de 'Update geschiedenis', maar ze hebben beiden andere functionaliteit. FreeNAS 8 heeft bijvoorbeeld (nog) geen ondersteuning voor bittorrent. Dat komt in 8.1 pas(tenminste, dat is het plan).
