Microsoft heeft met versienummer 12.2.4 een update voor Office 2008 voor Mac OS X beschikbaar gemaakt. De update is verkrijgbaar in elf verschillende talen en is ongeveer 221MB groot. Versie 12.2.4 bevat een aantal veranderingen voor Excel, die de stabiliteit en de prestaties moeten verbeteren.
