De ontwikkelaars van Transmission hebben versie 1.00 beschikbaar gesteld. De nieuwe versie kan vanaf deze pagina gedownload worden. Transmission is een opensource platformonafhankelijke en lichtgewichte BitTorrent-client met een eenvoudige interface. Het programma is ontwikkeld voor gebruik onder Mac OS X, maar is ook beschikbaar gesteld voor Linux, BeOS, NetBSD, FreeBSD en OpenBSD. Hieronder zijn de veranderingen ten opzichte van Transmission 0.96 geplaatst:
