Hyperion Entertainment heeft in samenwerking met Acube Systems AmigaOS 4.0 for Classic Amiga uitgebracht. Het langverwachte pakket heeft een adviesprijs van iets minder dan 90 euro meegekregen. In december van vorig jaar werd AmigaOS 4.0 al uitgebracht voor de AmigaOne, die door verschillende problemen met toeleveranciers nu al weer uit productie is genomen, maar de versie voor de andere Amiga-modellen liet nog op zich wachten.
