Software-update: NOD32 Antivirus / Smart Security 5.2.9

ESET heeft versie 5.2.9 van NOD32 Antivirus en Smart Security uitgebracht. Waar de eerste alleen beschermt tegen virussen, spyware en rootkits, heeft het tweede programma ook een firewall en spamfilter. Een licentie voor NOD32 Antivirus kost ongeveer 45 euro, terwijl er voor Smart Security 60 euro afgetikt moet worden. Wanneer er een licentie voor meerdere jaren of meerdere computers wordt afgenomen, daalt de prijs per stuk echter flink. Het changelog voor deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

Enhancement:

• Added info about need of switching SSL filtering ON in a case of filtering HTTPs sites by Parental within Parental Control setup screen
• Several smaller enhancements within Parental Control Setup and management
• Admin of Parental control could choose role for Windows Accound by entering person’s age configuring Parental Control
