AMD heeft vandaag een persbericht de wereld in gestuurd waarin enkele nieuwe processors aangekondigd worden. Het gaat hier om de 1,1 en de 1,2GHz mobile Duron, de opvolgers van het 1,0GHz exemplaar. Qua architectuur is er niks veranderd bij deze nieuwe modellen wat betekend dat er nog steeds 192KB cache, PowerNow!, data pre-fetch en een 200MHz FSB aanwezig is. De 1,1GHz en de 1,2GHz mobile Duron kosten respectievelijk 130 en 160 dollar. Hieronder een stukje marketingbabbel uit het persbericht:
