Een normale GeForce2 biedt meer 'bang for the buck':
The GeForce2 Pro is a nice interim solution between the super-expensive GeForce2 Ultra and the GeForce2 GTS, but it's certainly nothing to write home about. A little faster memory clock, and nothing else. Even worse, the only way you'll be able to see a performance difference between the GeForce2 GTS and GeForce2 Pro is if you've got a monster CPU that's not going to be the bottleneck. We're talking like 1.1 GHz and up here, anything below this will show barely any performance difference at all, and if there is a difference, it will only be in super-high resolutions.
We're not really sure why Nvidia brought the Pro to market, but it really doesn't deserve to have it's own product name, we would have rather preferred NVidia call it the GeForce2 GTS+ or something to that effect, as to not confuse consumers. We're not really sure how the Pro fits into Nvidia's business model, but it looks doubtful that these cards will sell well at all. Frankly, we're not impressed with the Pro, and would recommend either saving a few bucks and going with a GeForce2 GTS, or simply going all out and purchase the GeForce2 Ultra.
