Het programma Easy CD-DA Extractor kan op een eenvoudige en makkelijke manier audio-cd's rippen, bestanden converteren van en naar onder andere mp3, wma, ogg, aac, flac, wav en Monkey's Audio, en kan mp3-tags bewerken of automatisch invullen met behulp van freedb.org. Tenslotte kan het programma ook audio-cd's branden. De ontwikkelaars van Poikosoft hebben onlangs een nieuwe versie de wereld ingestuurd met 8.0 als de versieaanduiding. De release notes zien er als volgt uit:
