Software-update: Win11Debloat 2026.10.30

Win11Debloat is een PowerShell-script dat enerzijds een groot aantal met Windows meegeleverde applicaties kan verwijderen en anderzijds instellingen kan wijzigen die voor een verbeterde privacy en gebruikersgemak zorgen. Ondanks dat het een script is, heeft het wel een grafische gebruikersinterface en in tegenstelling tot wat de naam suggereert kan het op zowel Windows 10 als 11 worden gebruikt. Te veel uitschakelen is uiteraard niet zonder risico, maar de als standaard aanbevolen instellingen kunnen redelijk veilig worden uitgevoerd. Ook biedt het de mogelijkheid om een herstelpunt te maken voordat de gekozen aanpassingen worden doorgevoerd. De changelog voor versie 2026.10.30 kan hieronder worden gevonden.

Release 2026.10.30

Win11Debloat now stores user data, including your last used settings, preferences, and logs, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Win11Debloat instead of the script directory. The script will still fall back to the script directory when it is run in system context.

This release introduces one of the most requested features for Win11Debloat: localization support! Made possible by contributions from the community, the GUI now supports 13 languages. Beyond localization, this update brings several new features, expanded app removal support, and numerous improvements to the user interface, security, reliability, and performance.

Handige tool voor ‘gamers’ die nu nog op W10 zitten en een overstap naar W11 gaan maken.

Want? Stock 11 is net zo snel voor games als w10 is. Mocht er al verschil zijn ga je die 2 fps meer of minder echt niet merken.

Wie kan mij aan een download voor een kale versie van Windows 11 helpen zodat ik tools als Win11Debloat helemaal niet nodig heb?

Ik ken genoeg ouderen met oude hardware die daar super blij van zullen worden.

Er zijn een aantal mogelijkheden:

1. Selecteer tijdens de installatie de regio 'English (World)' om te voorkomen dat 3rd party apps zoals Spotify, Netflix, ed worden geïnstalleerd. Na installatie kan je dit weer makkelijk aanpassen naar Nederland indien gewenst.
2. Rufus biedt opties om bij het maken van Windows USB stick diverse mogelijkheden zoals onder meer OneDrive, Outlook en Teams te verwijderen, Copilot uitschakelt en advertenties in het startmenu onderdrukt.
3. Autounattend.xml biedt nog meer mogelijkheden, dit is een handige tool om daarbij te gebruiken: https://schneegans.de/windows/unattend-generator/
4. NTLite, waarmee je je eigen Windows installatie kunt samenstellen

Jemig, dan is Rufus wel flink uitgebreider geworden qua opties. Ik kan me wel herinneren dat je daarmee andere opties kon uitschakelen, maar wat jij hier allemaal opsomt komt mij niet bekend voor.

Het gaat mij niet om het debloaten van Windows 11 voor mezelf hoor. Ik vind bloat op mijn eigen pc niet zo erg, zolang het maar "in rust" op mijn SSD staat en het zich niet via popup vensters en irritante meldingen aan mij opdringt.

Maar ik heb gemerkt dat met name ouderen al die bloat heel erg verwarrend vinden en ze soms ook schijfruimte tekort komen.
