DivX Labs heeft een nieuwe bèta-versie uitgebracht van zijn DivX Pro codec. Het versienummer is 5.2.1 beta en naast diverse bugfixes is het nu tijdens het installeren mogelijk om de "Generic MPEG-4 Playback Component" niet te installeren. Daarnaast is deze versie volledig Windows XP SP-2 compatible en wordt DivX Player 2.5.5 meegeleverd. Feedback omtrent deze bèta-release kan in dit forum gevonden worden.
